Stephen Robbins

Agent

Stephen Robbins is the President/Owner of Robbins Insurance & Financial Services, Inc. Stephen began working at the agency for his father during the summers throughout high school and college. During this time he became familiar with insurance and worked his way through the office duties.

In 1999, Stephen graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration and a minor in Economics with a specialty in Advertising. Immediately after graduation, Stephen began a full time career in insurance and in 2008 he bought the agency from his father. Currently he maintains his 2-20 and 2-15 licenses.

In his free time, he enjoys scuba diving, tennis, coaching Youth Baseball and spending time with his wife, Salina and their two sons, Evan and Colton.

Becky Jarrett

Personal Lines Account Manager

Becky is a Customer Service Representative with Robbins Insurance & Financial Services, Inc. Becky began working in insurance with USAA in Tampa, Florida and relocated to San Antonio, Texas with USAA. After working with USAA for nine years, she returned to Florida and worked with several insurance agencies before joining Robbins Insurance. Becky spends her free time at the beach when possible and enjoys growing orchids.

David J. Green

Personal Lines Account Manager

David Green is an Associate Agent for Robbins Insurance & Financial Services, Inc. ⁠David was born in Tallahassee and attended Bartlett High School in Anchorage, Alaska. David proudly served his country in the United States Navy. David worked at Nationwide Insurance and Farmers Insurance. This move allowed David to the ability to write through several insurance carriers, providing customer service to his clients. David currently holds his 2-20 license. David is married to his bride Tracy, and they have one child. David enjoys being outside exploring the beaches and fishing in his free time.

Jesse Muir

Personal Lines Account Manager

Jesse Muir is the agent-in-charge for the agency’s Venice branch. He started with the agency in 2006 and holds a 2-20 General Lines Property and Casualty Insurance license. A native Floridian, Jesse attended and graduated Manatee High School. He has two young daughters, enjoys to read, and has an active lifestyle.

Chris Davila

Commercial Account Manager

Chris Davila is a Customer Service Representative, as well as a Commercial Lines Account representative for Robbins Insurance & Financial Services, Inc.

Prior to working for Robbins Insurance she managed the Customer Service department for a Credit Counseling company for 10+ years. Chris came to our company in 2015 and earned her 4-40 CSR License. When she is not assisting clients, she enjoys spending time on her Boat with her Son and Husband fishing.

Kathy Kelley Swain

Commercial Account Manager

Kathy is a Commercial Account Manager for Robbins Insurance & Financial Services, Inc. She has worked in insurance for over 7 years previously with an agency recently purchased by Robbins Insurance & Financial Services, Inc. Kathy has lived in Florida her entire life, mostly in the Englewood/Venice area, and graduated from Venice High School. Previous to working in the insurance field, Kathy spent 30 years as a Real Estate & Estate Planning Paralegal, and as a Paralegal Specialist for the State of Florida.

During her free time, Kathy enjoys traveling abroad and spending time with family.

Brittney Neal

Customer Service Representative

Brittney is a Customer Service Representative for Robbins Insurance & Financial Services, Inc. Brittney was born and raised in Bradenton and graduated from Lakewood Ranch High School.

Brittney came to work for the agency in 2013 with 8 years of prior insurance experience and knowledge. In 2005 she obtained her 4-40 Customer Services Representative license from Central Insurance School.

When Brittney is not working she enjoys getting mani/pedis with her daughter and watching her son play football.

Sydney Jordan

Customer Service Representative

Sydney was born and raised in Bradenton, FL and graduated from Braden River High School in 2011. She attended State College of Florida and graduated with her associate’s degree in 2013. She began working in the insurance field in October of 2022 as a receptionist and got her 4-40 license to become a customer service representative in January of 2023. When she is not working, she spends time with her 5 year old son attending church functions, going to the zoo, and watching all the latest Disney movies.

Customer Service Representative

Karen is a Customer Service Representative with Robbins Insurance & Financial Services Inc. Karen was born and raised in Florida. Prior to working for Robbins Insurance, Karen worked in Banking and Finance. She maintains her 4-40 Customer Services Representative license. In her free time, she enjoys being out on the water, kayaking, camping, and exploring our local nature preserves and state parks.

Sharon Kroupa

Customer Service Representative

Sharon was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated from Missouri Baptist University with a bachelor's degree in business management and business administration. Sharon moved to Florida in the fall of 2018 and loves being a resident of the sunshine state. She has previous insurance experience both in Missouri and Florida. Sharon has three adult children and one grandchild. In her spare time, she loves to dance, spend time at the beach, and feed the flamingos at Sarasota Jungle Gardens.

Salann Malone

Billing Specialist

Salann was born and raised in Wisconsin and as a result, loves everything cheese and Green Bay Packer related. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Development from the University of Wisconsin-Superior. In efforts to escape the long winters, she moved to Florida in 2015 where she taught kindergarten for 7 years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, hanging out by the pool, crafting, and coaching volleyball.

Associate Agent

Robert is an associate agent with Robbins Insurance & Financial Services, Inc. Born and raised in Michigan , Rob, graduated from Central Michigan University in 1984 with a bachelors degree in Industrial Supervision and Management with minors in Industrial Safety and in Psychology. After moving to Florida in 1987 , Robert worked in banking for several years in Sarasota before moving to the insurance industry in 2006. Rob earned his 2-20 property and casualty license in 2008 and specializes in personal lines insurance : home , auto and life insurance. In his spare time Rob enjoys spending time with his wife and family – especially his three young grandchildren.

Mark Schnelle

Associate Agent

Mark Schnelle is an Associate Agent for Robbins Insurance & Financial Services, Inc. He started with the agency in 2017 and holds a 2-20 General Lines Property and Casualty license, allowing him to present both Personal and Commercial insurances throughout the state of Florida. Mark lived in Bradenton for about 14 years, moved for professional reasons and three years later has returned. Mark has a wealth of industrial account management experience, having demonstrated proficiency as a Global Accounts Manager, International Sub-Contracts Manager, and Commodities Manager. He volunteers with both Lions Club International and Fraternal Order of the Moose. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife (Carol) and their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel as well as kayak fishing.

John Lehman

Associate Agent

John Lehman is an Associate Agent for Robbins Insurance & Financial Services, Inc. John was born and raised in Bradenton and attended St. Stephens Episcopal School. He went on to graduate from Florida State University in 1988, with a Bachelors in Risk Management and Insurance.

Prior to working at Robbins Insurance & Financial Services, Inc., John owned an Allstate agency, which he ran for 7-½ years. In 2011, John sold the Allstate agency and decided to join the Robbins team as an Associate Agent. This move allowed John the ability to write through several insurance carriers, providing better customer service to his clients and also the flexibility to work from home. Here at the agency, John specializes in commercial and personal lines insurance. John currently holds his 2-20 license.

Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with his wife, Diane and keeping up with their 3 children.
